LOCATION
Situated only 40 miles north of Santa Fe (and 20 miles south of Taos), UnU Center sits by the mystical Rio Grande Valley in Embudo, New Mexico.

Its location right on the river is providing the lush green appearance within the high desert landscape, surrounded by granite mountains.
UnU Center's unique location gives easy access to amazing Hot Springs of Ojo Caliente (40 minutes drive), Santa Fe & Taos beaming cultural life in less then one hour drive.

We can arrange many meaningful experiences for our quests: river rafting (we're located within walking distance to 3 different outfitters), skiing (30 minutes away from very affordable Sipapu resort or one hour away from world famous Taos Ski Valley) or bird-watching straight from our back yard!

UnU Center Locally
We're very privileged to be have quick access to world class local Art Galleries, wineries (La Chiripada and Vivac are open year round for wine tasting), and there's even a small brewing company Blue Heron with some tasty craft beers -all within 5 minutes drive. Restaurants and various day trips for skiing, hiking, river rafting and sightseeing are all 15-30 minutes away. The rural mountain village of Dixon (Elevation 6200 feet, 1 mile away from UnU) is home to many artists and crafts people and is famous for the annual Dixon art and studio tour. Dixon also offers a wide selection of healthy food options through its very well-stocked coop store.

Getting here
Transportation-wise, UnU is very close to several airports: Taos for local flights, Santa Fe and Albuquerque for local & international flights. We can arrange shuttle transportation to & from those. For those more incline towards adventure and self-sustainability, there is a Blue Bus connecting UnU Center to Santa Fe and Taos that stops within walking distance. A train line connects Albuquerque to Santa Fe.
